Position Overview

The Senior Manager, Customer Curriculum Solutions helps Becker build new training offerings that meet the content needs of accounting firms and corporate accounting and finance teams. This person works directly with B2B customers to understand what their people need to learn, adapts customers' existing content into curriculum that fits Becker's offerings, and develops new curriculum where gaps exist. They also bring the customers’ perspective to product teams and help confirm that new offerings meet customer and internal standards before launch.

The role suits a CPA who understands how accounting professionals learn and work, and who enjoys turning customer needs into high‑quality, practical curriculum. As the new‑offerings portfolio grows, this role is expected to build and lead a small team.

What You'll Do

Curriculum development and customer content adaptation

  • Partner with B2B customers to develop on‑demand, live, virtual, and/or hybrid custom training programs, including simulation‑based training.
  • Design and develop curriculum for new training offerings, including learning objectives, course structure, content, and assessments.
  • Ensure content is technically accurate, current, and aligned with professional and CPE standards.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, authors, and instructional designers to develop and refine content.
  • Maintain consistent quality and learner experience across customer‑adapted and Becker‑developed content.
Customer discovery and sales support
  • Lead discovery calls with B2B customers to understand their training needs, content gaps, and learning goals.
  • Gather B2B engagement details, such as audience, timelines, and success measures, to inform how offerings are scoped.
  • Join sales calls as a subject matter expert to explain new offerings, answer technical accounting questions, and capture customer feedback.
  • Identify new training opportunities based on customer need, market demand, and trends in the accounting profession.
Product requirements and testing
  • Document curriculum and content requirements for Product and Engineering teams as PRDs or user stories.
  • Act as the voice of the customer during build, answering questions and clarifying requirements as work progresses.
  • Support testing, including user acceptance testing, content review, and customer pilots, to confirm new offerings meet customer and internal requirements.
Leadership
  • Build relationships across Curriculum, Product, Engineering, and Sales to keep new‑offering work aligned and on schedule.
  • Help shape the team's processes for customer content adaptation and curriculum development.
  • Hire, develop, and manage direct reports as the team grows.
What You'll Need To Succeed
  • Active CPA license.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 7+ years of professional accounting experience.
  • Experience leading client‑facing conversations and turning customer needs into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce structured documentation for technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
  • Experience mentoring, leading, or managing others, formally or informally.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Public accounting experience.
  • Learning and development or instructional design experience, especially in professional education or CPE.
  • Familiarity with NASBA CPE standards
  • Experience supporting B2B sales or managing enterprise client relationships.
  • Prior people-management experience.
Nice to Have
  • Product management experience, including writing PRDs or user stories and working with engineering teams.
  • Experience with Agile development practices and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
  • Experience running user acceptance testing, beta programs, or customer pilots.
