Job summary

Staples is seeking an experienced Manager, Customer Reporting & Analytics (Sales Operations) to lead meaningful reporting and analytics that drive customer decisions and improve experiences. You will partner across Sales, Analytics, and BI teams to transform data into insights, automate processes, and shape scalable reporting solutions that create value for customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IS / analytics or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in analytics, reporting, BI, sales operations or related data role.
• Experience with report/dashboard development, automation, self-service analytics, data governance.
• Strong analytical and data modeling skills with trend analysis for insights.
• Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Experience leading projects, improving processes, and enabling change.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of customer reporting, analytics, and automation to improve experience.
• Collaborate with Sales, BI, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable tools.
• Develop data-driven processes using SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, and similar platforms.
• Act as SME for reporting architecture, data governance, and data quality across the org.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and streamline workflows.
• Analyze customer, operations, and sales data to uncover trends and provide strategic recommendations.
• Oversee delivery and adoption of new reporting capabilities, including testing and enablement.
• Build partnerships with internal teams, sponsors, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Drive complex cross-functional projects from planning to implementation.
• Foster continuous improvement with analytics, automation, and scalable solutions.
