Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company, is seeking a Senior Manager for the Crystal Growing and Shaping operations in Manitoba. You will lead a team of skilled leaders, shape policies, and drive manufacturing to meet schedules, quality standards, and cost targets.

You will collaborate with finance, HR, and engineering to optimize processes and sustain Silfex’s Lean culture. A strong engineering background and TPS expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required with 6–8 years of management experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Lean/TPS concepts and philosophies.
• Experience leading and facilitating progressive change across levels of management.
• Proven ability to think strategically and develop operational plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Crystal Growing and Shaping organization.
• Develop and implement policies to maintain competitive position and profitability.
• Direct manufacturing to meet schedule, quality, and cost objectives.
• Ensure adherence to company values and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with HR, accounting, and other departments on budgets and training.
