Job Description

The Manager, Crown Jewel Operations maintains accountability for a positive customer experience and driving value with a strategic mindset while protecting AbbVie's most confidential data assets. This role is responsible for governance and oversight of Crown Jewel Office and Cybersecurity activities, delivering business value by maximizing investments in securing our Crown Jewels. It supports the Data Protection Governance Committee and Crown Jewel Office Projects, developing reports and dashboards to measure the current state of the Crown Jewel Office.

This position can be virtual anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee operations, governance, and process optimization of the Crown Jewel Office, focusing on automation.
2. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with ISRM, business units, and IT System Owners to ensure protection of Crown Jewel data.
3. Lead assurance activities to test and verify controls protecting Crown Jewel data.
4. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the health and status of Crown Jewel Assets.
5. Support the Data Protection Governance Committee with action tracking, content development, and meeting facilitation.
6. Define operational and reporting requirements for internal tools and dashboards.
7. Monitor execution of Crown Jewel processes and implement improvements.
8. Maintain accurate information on Crown Jewel data assets, suppliers, and applications, engaging owners throughout their lifecycle.
9. Ensure compliance with process standards across all Crown Jewel applications, suppliers, and data assets.
10. Support the mission to safeguard AbbVie's vital digital data assets through security measures and technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8 years experience; Master's Degree with 7 years; PhD with 3 years, or relevant experience in IT/Information Security.
• Experience managing managed service provider outcomes, including SLAs and contractual obligations.
• 5+ years using ITIL Framework (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
• Experience in risk mitigation strategies.
• CISSP certification preferred.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with senior leaders and influencing skills.
• Experience in global, multi-sourced service operations.
