Qualifications

Job description

• You'll own the underwriting operating model for Engine's corporate card, including credit standards, backtest infrastructure, and portfolio analytics.
• You'll build the bridge from manual underwriting to automated decisioning, working closely with Data Science and senior leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Hold the credit team accountable to underwriting standards and manage portfolio performance.
• Write the credit underwriting standard and build backtest infrastructure for rule changes.
• Deliver portfolio analytics on delinquency, cohort performance, and limit utilization.

What We're Looking For:

• 8+ years of credit underwriting or risk experience, with 3+ years leading a credit team.
• Deep commercial credit expertise and hands-on experience with D&B and KYB processes.
• Automation-minded, with strong analytics skills and SQL/Snowflake proficiency a plus.
• Base pay range of $151,300-$178,000 USD, plus equity for all employees.
• Hybrid-hub model allowing remote or office work.
