Engine is seeking a Sr. Credit Analyst to own the full underwriting cycle for Engine X, including application review, KYB, limit setting, documentation, and escalation. You will apply rigorous analytical judgment and flag what the team needs to know to proceed.

The role requires autonomous decision-making, experience with D&B, KYB, and an automation mindset to streamline workflows. Collaboration with Fraud and policy teams is essential in a hybrid work model across US offices or remote settings.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in commercial or business credit underwriting.
• Experience with D&B or equivalent commercial credit bureau.
• KYB process execution is expected.
• Automation mindset to reduce manual work and expose signals.
• Strong documentation for exception review/regulatory defensibility.
• Ability to identify patterns across applications and flag gaps proactively.

Aufgaben

• Work the Engine X credit underwriting queue from receipt to decision with fast, justified decisions.
• Run KYB verification and assess creditworthiness for each application.
• Flag steps in underwriting that can be systematized for a future decision engine.
• Document every decision with clear notes for review.
• Identify patterns and surface them to improve risk indicators.
• Support backtest analysis for proposed rule changes.
• Contribute to SOP development as credit framework matures.
• Coordinate with Fraud team on signals overlapping with credit risk.
