Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Eight or more years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, consolidations, and technical accounting.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting and external audit management.
• Background in SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Proven leadership with a collaborative, coaching-oriented style.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical abilities.
• Passion for automation and AI in accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead consolidation of financial statements and quarterly reporting packages.
• Prepare reporting schedules for external reporting requirements.
• Oversee annual stand-alone financial statements for Franchise Disclosure Document.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors during reviews and audits.
• Lead lease accounting under ASC 842 and coordinate with Legal.
• Oversee key accounting estimates and actuarial reserves.
• Conduct technical accounting research and memos.
• Ensure SOX internal controls and strengthen control environment.
• Partner with other leaders to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and leverage technology to improve efficiency.
• Coach, mentor, and develop accounting professionals.
