TITLE:

Manager, Corporate Partnerships

FLSA:

Exempt

DIVISION/DEPARTMENT:

Development

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:

Minimal, 25% to fulfill job requirements.

HOURS & SCHEDULE:

Generally, Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (minimum 37.5 hours within five (5) days per week); unless otherwise required or approved by management.

REPORTS TO:

This position reports to the Executive Director, Corporate Partnerships.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

The Manager of Corporate Partnerships collaborates closely with the Executive Director and the broader development team. This role also includes the recruitment, management, and supervision of interns within NCMEC’s development department.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Manager of Corporate Partnerships plays a key role within NCMEC’s development team, supporting the organization’s corporate fundraising initiatives. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate prospects, primarily in the five-to-six-figure range, as well as researching and identifying new sponsorship opportunities. The Manager will also secure sponsorships for NCMEC’s HOPE Gala, in-person events, and the organization’s overall sponsorship portfolio, along with managing sponsorship fulfillment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Secure corporate gifts at the five-to-six figure level.
  2. Develop and manage a personal portfolio of 50-plus corporate donors and prospects.
  3. Identify, prospect, and secure sponsorships for NCMEC’s major events, including fundraising galas, awareness campaigns, and other signature events.
  4. Conduct regular outreach to corporate contacts, updating them on NCMEC’s work, impact, and partnership opportunities.
  5. Manage all corporate partnerships within portfolio, tracking MOU deadlines in Salesforce and working to ensure reporting deadlines are met in a timely and accurate manner.
  6. Track and report on partnership activities, sponsor benefits, and ROI to demonstrate value and maintain strong relationships.
  7. Leverage software to track and cultivate donors and prospects, including the Salesforce database and wealth screening tools.
  8. Develop cultivation and solicitation strategies for top prospects and implement moves management plans to close gifts.
  9. Attend conferences and networking events as appropriate to build the corporate partnerships portfolio.
  10. Create partnership packages and strategies that offer value to both NCMEC and corporate donors, fostering long-term relationships.
  11. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of sponsorship revenue and other corporate donations.
  12. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all major funding sources.
  13. Manage all work in accordance with NCMEC development policies as established by the Board of Directors.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of relevant work experience, including 2-3 years of front-line fundraising, working with corporate donors.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  1. Demonstrated success managing a five-to-six-figure portfolio of corporate supporters.
  2. A proven track record in fundraising from corporations – soliciting gifts, creating cultivation plans, stewarding donors, and otherwise growing the donor and partner base.
  3. Ability to negotiate, persuade, and problem solve creative resolutions. Strong analytical and prospect research skills.
  4. Ability to use data and CRM systems to set fundraising strategies, measure outcomes, and drive superior performance.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge of principles, best practices and current trends of fundraising cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategy and tactics.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Superior organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  8. Must be comfortable with details and competing deadlines.
  9. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  11. Ability to work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines and manage workflow.
  12. Proficiency with fund-raising and basic computer software is essential. Preference is given to NCMEC’s current programs including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Salesforce.
