ACHC is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications to lead the centralized editorial team and shape content strategy across owned, earned, and paid media. The role requires translating complex healthcare topics into clear, engaging communications and collaborating with executives.

Based in the Raleigh-Durham area, the position offers base salary plus annual bonus, a comprehensive benefits package, and remote work two days per week. Relocation assistance is available if applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in public relations, corporate communications, journalism, or a related field.
• 5+ years of people-management including hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, and workload management.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages ACHC’s centralized editorial team with direction, coaching, and professional development.
• Oversees development, writing, editing, and production of content across corporate and program communications.
• Supports PR and media relations by developing press materials and coordinating media outreach.
• Serves as senior writer/editor for high-profile communications.
• Collaborates to support corporate messaging and executive communications.
• Develops editorial standards, guidelines, and quality control processes.
