Job summary

HCSC is seeking a seasoned communications professional to design and execute a variety of communications for multiple audiences, collaborating with clients and management at all levels. This role involves drafting, editing, and supervising the production of communications (print, web, etc.) and mentoring fellow team members to build a high-performing group.

The position features a Flex (Hybrid) schedule with three days in the office and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations or communications-related field with 7+ years in copy development or editing, or 11 years in communications.
• Leadership to mentor staff, handle escalated issues and assist management.
• Project management to lead multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
• Work well under pressure with short deadlines.
• Verbal and written communication to engage clients and influence decisions.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

• Develop and execute a variety of communications for multiple audiences with clients and management at all levels.
• Draft, edit and supervise production of communications (print, web, etc.).
• Mentor other team members and guide junior staff.
