Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED plus experience in communications, public relations, marketing, website design or maintenance, or social marketing.
• Associate's degree with 4+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reside in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and shape member and community stories across written, video, and audio formats.
• Develop, write, edit, and proof content for websites, publications, and member communications.
• Apply brand standards, accessibility requirements, and readability guidelines to all communications.
• Coordinate development and distribution of email communications, including list management and reporting.
• Maintain and update website content in coordination with internal teams and external partners.
• Ensure all communications align with branding guidelines and messaging standards.
