Position Summary

Bridgestone, a global leader in the tire and rubber industry, is seeking an experienced compliance professional to join its Ethics & Integrity Compliance team as Senior Manager, Compliance Program Effectiveness & Analytics. This is a high-impact role within a lean, multi-functional team that covers a broad geography spanning the Americas and EMEA regions (Bridgestone West).

The successful candidate will lead efforts to build and mature Bridgestone West’s compliance program by developing a structured approach to compliance program testing and effectiveness, advancing the team’s data analytics capabilities, and helping to build out AI-enabled compliance tools. This person will play a central role in helping the team demonstrate the effectiveness of the compliance program and generate meaningful, data-driven insights across the program’s key risk areas.

Like all members of the Bridgestone West Ethics & Integrity Compliance team, this person will contribute across multiple areas of the program. That breadth is part of what makes our team effective and offers strong professional development opportunities. In addition to the primary focus areas described below, this role will support other parts of the compliance program as needed, including the anti-bribery program.

The role will report to the Vice President and General Counsel for Ethics & Integrity Compliance and is preferably based in Nashville.

Compliance Program Testing & Effectiveness
  • Design and build a structured compliance program testing and monitoring framework to assess the real-world effectiveness of Bridgestone West’s ethics and compliance program, identifying gaps between policy and practice.
  • Conduct compliance program assessments and controls testing across key risk areas, documenting findings, root causes, and actionable recommendations for program improvement.
  • Develop and maintain compliance program metrics and KPIs, and communicate performance insights and trends to senior leadership, the law department, and relevant business stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the compliance program based on testing outcomes, industry benchmarking, and evolving regulatory expectations.
  • Build internal frameworks, tools, and resources to support consistent and repeatable compliance assessments across the organization.
Data Analytics & AI
  • Build and advance Bridgestone West’s compliance data analytics capabilities, with a focus on making compliance data more actionable and accessible to program leadership.
  • Develop approaches to use data to track activities and trends related to the compliance risk registry, enabling more proactive, risk-based decision‑making across the program.
  • Help build out the team’s use of AI tools to support compliance program activities, including investigations support and trend identification, in a practical and thoughtful way.
  • Design and build compliance dashboards — including using Power BI — to provide leadership and key stakeholders with clear, real‑time visibility into program activities, metrics, and risk indicators.
  • Translate compliance data and analytics outputs into clear, compelling insights for senior leadership and business stakeholders who may not have a technical background.
  • Monitor and assess emerging analytics tools, AI capabilities, and industry developments applicable to ethics and compliance programs.
Ethics & Compliance Program Support
  • Contribute to broader ethics and compliance program activities as a member of a small, high-performing team that supports each other across multiple program areas.
  • Support the anti-bribery program, working collaboratively with the EMEA-based senior manager who leads that program, including contributing to training, risk assessments, or related projects as needs arise.
  • Assist with other compliance program priorities from time to time, which may include supporting communications, training initiatives, or stakeholder engagement efforts.
  • Collaborate effectively with key cross-functional partners, including Internal Audit, Finance, Human Resources, and Enterprise Risk Management, to support a cohesive and integrated approach to compliance and risk management.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in ethics and compliance, internal audit, compliance program management, or a closely related field, preferably within a multinational corporation.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing compliance program testing, monitoring, or assessments — not just conceptual familiarity, but hands‑on experience building and running such efforts.
  • Practical experience with data analytics in a compliance, audit, or investigations context, with the ability to work with data to identify trends and generate actionable insights. Deep technical expertise is not required; what matters is a genuine analytical mindset combined with strong compliance judgment.
  • Experience building compliance or audit dashboards, with proficiency in Power BI preferred. The ability to design clear, meaningful visualizations that communicate program health to non-technical audiences is important.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their practical application to compliance programs and investigations, and a curiosity and initiative to learn and develop this area.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing, and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data and compliance concepts into clear, accessible guidance for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in or supporting global compliance programs; exposure to anti-bribery or anti-corruption programs is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with diligence and adaptability in a lean, fast-moving team environment, including navigating ambiguity and working with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and a demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality in sensitive matters.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across diverse cultures and geographies.
  • A team-first mindset, growth orientation, and genuine commitment to building an ethical culture.
  • Willingness and ability to periodically travel as needed.

Nice to have:

  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) credential strongly preferred; other relevant professional certifications will be considered.
