Centene is seeking a Senior Manager for Community Engagement and Corporate Giving to enhance community health and support strategic initiatives across Nevada. The role involves establishing partnerships, managing the Community Health Services division, and driving community engagement efforts to improve health outcomes. Candidates must have a relevant Bachelor’s degree with significant experience in community relations and team management, and be able to travel within the state. Candidate MUST live in NV and be able to travel 50% within the state.
Position Purpose: Assist with the development and execution of the Health Plan's statewide community engagement strategies leveraging community resources. This includes establishing and maintaining strategic community partners and key internal stakeholders to support member retention, growth, and to improve quality scores.
Lead the design and execution of the statewide Community Giving strategy to enhance community health and support SilverSummit, Nevada Medicaid, and other community needs.
Identify and establish relationships and agreements with community partners (CBOs, county agencies, providers, etc.).
Manage metric relationships to secure internal resources for CRC operations.
Oversee the Community Health Services division, including housing supports, justice re-entry programs, career development initiatives, community outreach, engagement, and a team of community health workers.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years in community relations or strategic planning, and 7 years in supervisory/management roles.
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business or Public Health, Project Management Certification, experience with community health needs assessments, advisory structures, and managing funding portfolios.
Pay Range: $86,000 - $154,700 per year.
