Job summary

Pfizer Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager in Business Assessment to own end-to-end pipeline and BD assessments, building rigorous models and defending investment cases.

You will collaborate with R&D, Global Commercial Strategy, and US/International commercial teams to evaluate internal and external opportunities against strategy and investment criteria. The role anchors in Inflammation & Immunology and Specialty Care, with exposure across oncology, internal medicine, vaccines, and novel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience; OR a master's with at least 5 years; OR a PhD with 1+ years.
• Advanced Excel proficiency with multi-tab forecast/valuation models; strong PowerPoint for exec materials.
• Hands-on experience building or owning quantitative forecast/valuation models with patient-flow/epidemiology-based demand builds, uptake curves, gross-to-net pricing, risk adjustment, NPV/rNPV.
• Experience using epidemiology literature, analyst reports, secondary/claims data, primary research, pricing and market access inputs for forecast.
• Experience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and own pipeline and BD assessments with epidemiology-based patient flow and pricing models.
• Defend independent positions and provide recommendations even with incomplete information.
• Gather input from stakeholders across R&D, Global Commercial Strategy, US/International Commercial, BD, and Finance.
• Integrate inline and BD/pipeline forecasts with cannibalization logic and Long-Range Revenue projections.
• Use AI-enabled tooling for evidence synthesis, model QC, and drafting executive materials; ensure traceability of assumptions.
• Scope qualitative and quantitative primary market research with physicians and patients, managing vendors within governance.
• Develop analytically supported recommendations for investment trade-offs across therapeutic areas and BD vs internal pipeline.
• Determine appropriate level of rigor and external insights required based on timeline.
• Work flexibly on multiple therapeutic areas in a matrixed team; support enterprise initiatives with forecasts and analyses.
