Job summary

Sun Pharma is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Data & Analytics Engineering in North America IT. You will lead data platform design, ensure governance, and partner with business units to translate priorities into scalable data products.

The role requires strong leadership, vendor oversight, and cross-functional collaboration. You will manage end-to-end data platforms, including ingestion, modeling, and BI-ready datasets, while aligning with enterprise standards and security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in data and analytics technology, including cloud data engineering and platform delivery.
• Strong experience with Azure data services and Databricks; AWS experience preferred.
• Experience designing data pipelines, data models, semantic layers, and reusable data products.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, delivery, and lifecycle management of North America Commercial data lake/lakehouse and analytics platforms.
• Coordinate with internal/external partners and enterprise IT to align with standards.
• Manage governance, data quality, metadata, lineage and security controls for Commercial data.
• Oversee vendor management, SOWs, budgets, and knowledge transfer across delivery teams.
• Track delivery health, risks, and costs; communicate status to leadership.
