Job summary
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries seeks a Senior Manager, Commercial Data & Analytics Engineering to lead the design and delivery of data platforms for North America Commercial IT. You will partner with analytics, operations and IT to translate business priorities into scalable data products.
The role requires strong cloud data engineering experience, governance, and vendor management, with a hybrid work model in the NA region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline; 10+ years in data and analytics.
- Extensive experience with cloud data engineering, platform delivery, and business-facing roles.
- Deep knowledge of modern data engineering practices, SQL and Python/Spark.
- Experience with pharma Commercial data and reference data governance.
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, and cross-functional delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, delivery, and lifecycle of NA Commercial data lake/lakehouse and analytics platforms.
- Oversee data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and reusable data products.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and production readiness.
- Manage third-party data providers and engineering vendors; oversee SLAs and budgets.
- Coordinate operations, monitoring, incident management, and delivery governance.
