Job summary

Sun Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Manager of Commercial Data & Analytics Engineering in North America. You will lead the design, delivery, and evolution of data platforms and data products to enable Commercial Analytics, Insights, and Operations while partnering with business and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities include governance, vendor management, and platform operations, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant data foundations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery, and lifecycle management of the NA Commercial data lake/lakehouse, analytics platforms, and integration services.
• Define and drive engineering standards for solution quality, testing, deployment, security, and reliability.
• Oversee data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and reusable data products.
• Manage vendor relationships and delivery with internal/external partners.
• Coordinate production operations, incidents, and change management with IT and partners.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical discipline

10+ years of progressive experience in data & analytics technology

Azure data services and Databricks

SQL and Python/Spark

Data governance, metadata, lineage, data quality, security controls

Experience with pharmaceutical Commercial data (e.g., prescription/claims, CRM)

Tools
