Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Credit Card & Commercial Payment Product Credit Risk Management teams. You will develop plans, allocate resources, and drive risk controls across the product lifecycle in partnership with business, Credit, Compliance, Operations, and Legal.

The role requires guiding portfolio performance, setting credit strategies, and ensuring adherence to risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 10 years of relevant experience in commercial credit, credit risk, or portfolio management
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk governance practices

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple teams responsible for commercial credit card and payment product risk management.
• Evaluate creditworthiness for corporate, middle-market, and SME clients including financial analysis and risk assessments.
• Set and monitor credit limits, exposure thresholds, and spend controls per risk appetite.
• Monitor delinquency trends, utilization, payment behavior, and industry concentrations.
• Translate regulatory and data-use requirements into operational controls with Compliance.
• Oversee early-intervention and collection strategies for emerging credit concerns.
• Coordinate resources to resolve complex risk and operational issues.
• Lead remediation and examination-readiness activities and audits.
