Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Commercial Credit Card and Commercial Payment Product Credit Risk Management. You will oversee multiple teams, evaluate creditworthiness across corporate to SME clients, and establish controls aligned with risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

The role involves coordinating with Compliance, Credit Risk, Operations, Legal, and Audit to strengthen portfolio performance and support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; 10 years of relevant experience in commercial credit, commercial cards, commercial payments, financial services risk management, portfolio management, or related field.
• Experience evaluating commercial credit risk through financial statement analysis, commercial bureau information, payment performance, and related credit data.
• Knowledge of commercial card and payment products, risk appetite, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading credit or product risk management for corporate card, purchasing card, virtual card, integrated payables, merchant, or other commercial payment products.
• Experience managing risk across corporate, middle-market, and SME portfolios.
• Experience partnering with second‑line Compliance, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Legal, Audit, Collections, and regulatory‑examination teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple teams responsible for commercial credit card and payment product risk management.
• Oversee evaluation of creditworthiness for corporate, middle-market, and SME clients.
• Set and monitor credit limits, temporary increases, exposure thresholds, and spend controls.
• Direct portfolio monitoring activities including delinquency, utilization, and payment behavior analysis.
• Translate regulatory and data-use requirements into operational controls with Compliance and other risk functions.
• Oversee early-intervention and collection strategies for emerging credit concerns.
• Identify and resolve complex credit, operational, and organizational problems across the department.
• Lead remediation and examination-readiness activities, including corrective-action planning and audit support.
