Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Pittsburgh is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics & Reporting to translate commercial strategy into scalable analytics and governance. You will lead a global team delivering analytics, reporting, and insights to enable data-driven decisions.

Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT and Data Governance, you will advance Power BI-based solutions, governance, and enablement across the organization, supporting growth objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in commercial analytics, sales operations, business intelligence, or commercial excellence.
• 3+ years leading analytics teams.
• Experience developing commercial analytics strategies, reporting governance, and scalable BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing global team delivering commercial analytics, reporting, and business insights.
• Define and execute the commercial analytics roadmap, aligning analytics capabilities with sales behavior, business priorities and growth objectives.
• Establish governance for commercial KPIs, reporting standards, and data quality to ensure trusted, consistent decision-making.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Data Governance to deliver scalable analytics solutions supporting enterprise initiatives.
• Deliver executive insights and recommendations that support commercial performance and strategic decision-making.
• Advance commercial analytics and enablement through Power BI, automation, self-service reporting, and emerging AI capabilities.
• Support enterprise initiatives including customer hierarchy, segmentation, territory management, and CRM/ERP alignment.
• Define and lead analytics enablement program to drive the right behaviors and outcomes in the field
• Promote adoption of analytics through enablement, continuous improvement, and measurement of business impact.

Reporting to the Director, Sales Analytics & Foundations, this role leads a global team responsible for commercial analytics and enablement, reporting governance, executive insights, and analytics modernization. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Data Governance, the Senior Manager develops scalable analytics capabilities that improve commercial performance and support long-term business growth.
