Danone North America is seeking a senior procurement/continuous improvement leader to work with the North American 3PM team. The role focuses on identifying opportunities with Contract Manufacturers to drive cost, quality, and delivery gains through CI programs and supplier collaboration.

You will lead supplier qualification, Kaizen plans, and the use of SPC to reduce variability, while mentoring direct reports and partnering across Procurement, Engineering, and Quality groups.

Qualifications

• BS in Science/Food Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• MBA preferred.
• 7+ years' experience in CPG beverage/food supply chain.
• Experience in commercialization/ launches of new products.
• Experience in commercialization stage gate processes.
• Experience in leading, managing and developing direct reports.
• Experience with manufacturing in an FDA environment; preferably food and/or liquid processing.

Responsabilités

• Lead CI programs with Co-Man suppliers to deliver cost, quality and delivery improvements.
• Lead supplier Kaizen plans with Procurement, Engineering and Quality teams.
• Promote Statistical Process Controls and continuous improvement techniques at suppliers.
• Identify improvement projects and manage cross-functional implementation across key components and suppliers.
• Onboard new strategic Co Packers as requested by Strategic Procurement team.
• Provide regular feedback to sourcing on supplier performance and improvement plans.
• Lead Supplier Cost Reduction, Zero Waste and New Product Development programs as appropriate.
• Ensure robust product availability and proactively manage supply risks and constraints.
