Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a CoMan Operations Director to lead supplier performance, CI initiatives, and capability assessments with contract manufacturers across North America. The role partners with Procurement, Engineering and Quality to deliver cost, quality and delivery improvements.

The hybrid position requires strong leadership, deep experience in CPG supply chains, and a track record of developing teams, with travel up to 25% to NA sites and suppliers.

Qualifications

• BS in Business or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of seven years of experience, preferably in CPG beverage/food supply chain.
• Strong communication across functions and to senior leadership.
• Experience in commercialization and launches of new products.
• Familiarity with commercialization stage gate processes.
• Experience leading and developing direct reports.
• Experience in manufacturing in FDA environments and related quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance animation with suppliers, driving accountability and KPI delivery.
• Own LTCP coordination and supplier performance improvement strategy.
• Lead a team for qualification and capability assessment of co-manufacturers.
• Drive internal communications on COMAN performance, issues and opportunities.
• Ensure robust product availability, proactively managing supply risks.
• Champion COMAN Excellence initiatives to unlock productivity and ESG value.
• Create digital connection between COMANs and Danone for visibility across production, inventory, and performance.
• Coordinate global best practices and share knowledge with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead a team applying SPC and CI techniques to reduce variability at suppliers.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering and Quality on process and quality improvements.
