Job summary

STA Pharmaceutical, a WuXi AppTec Company, is seeking a Senior Manager/Associate Director, CMC Project Management. The role leads DS and DP projects from proposal to completion, coordinating with clients, technical teams, and business development.

This position is remote but requires residence in the Eastern time zone. Candidates should hold a Masters or PhD in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences, have 2+ years in pharma or CRO/CMO, and be fluent in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Masters (MS) or PhD in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical or CRO/CMO industry experience preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Must be bilingual (fluent in English and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Assist BD in preparing quotations/proposals with inputs from key stakeholders.
• Plan and implement projects; establish objectives, timelines, and deliverables; define tasks and resources.
• Closely monitor progression to ensure on-schedule and within-budget delivery; report progress to stakeholders.
• Support technical team to investigate potential issues and implement corrective measures.
• Serve as liaison for client contacts and manage day-to-day communications.
• Represent company in project meetings, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and follow through on actions.
• Evaluate project results and provide recommendations for future improvements.
• Provide support to BD by attending customer visits, conferences, or tradeshows.
