• Develop and execute a comprehensive Clinical Risk Management strategy that integrates patient safety, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management.
• Lead the governance and operational capabilities needed to manage complex patient care events with just culture and trauma-informed communication.
• Partner with Clinical Operations, Quality, Patient Safety, Legal, Finance, and executive leadership for a coordinated response to patient care events.
• Engage in proactive trend monitoring, translating insights from events, claims, and regulatory activity into mitigation strategies and system improvements.
• Ensure the Clinical Risk Management strategy reflects the five CPHRM domains across role expectations and leadership reporting.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to physicians, administrators, and executives to navigate potential patient harm and regulatory scrutiny.
• Build training, coaching, and staff support programs advancing trauma-informed communication and just culture practices.
