Job summary

Aprio is seeking a Senior Manager for its Client Accounting Services (CAS) team. The role leads accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls across a portfolio of clients within an outsourced environment.

The Senior Manager translates financial data into actionable insights, drives process improvements, and partners with client executives to align financial infrastructure with growth. CPA preferred; hybrid/remote options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA, CMA, CGMA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience across public, corporate, or outsourced/client accounting services.
• Proven experience leading accounting operations and financial reporting at controller level.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition and complex areas.
• Experience overseeing multi-entity, multi-system, or high-growth environments.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams with a focus on quality and accountability.
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems (NetSuite, QBO, Xero) and reporting tools; integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under US GAAP.
• Lead core accounting functions including general ledger, AP, AR, and billing.
• Design and optimize scalable accounting processes and operating models.
• Establish internal control frameworks and governance for client environments.
• Act as senior advisor to client leadership with strategic financial insight.
• Coach and develop accounting teams and manage delivery quality across portfolios.
• Drive automation, system improvements, and cross-service line collaboration.
