Job summary

Relativity Space in Mississippi is seeking a Senior Manager, Civil Engineering to lead design and construction of Terran R test infrastructure at the Stennis Space Center. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams to define architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical requirements, and manage budgets and schedules.

This role requires field and construction engineering experience, 7+ years in aerospace or construction, a bachelor’s in civil/structural engineering, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in aerospace and/or construction.
• Experience with design documentation, construction drawings, bid solicitation, contractor selection, construction management, field supervision, permitting, QA/QC, and safety.
• Experience in project scoping, budgeting, and scheduling at both the task and program levels.
• Experience with architectural, structural, civil, and MEPF design, construction, and operations.
• Knowledge of standard construction procedures and means and methods.
• Proficiency with 3D models using NX, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, design, engineering, and construction of Terran R test infrastructure.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to define architectural, civil, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing requirements.
• Serve as owner’s representative with external consultants, contractors, and regulators; partner with internal teams on designs, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage construction documentation, RFPs, bidding and evaluations, subcontractor selection, and on‑site management.
• Drive complex projects from concept through execution; travel up to 25% to support sites.
