Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager to join our CFO Advisory – Accounting Advisory practice with hybrid flexibility or remote for the right resource. You will lead engagements, supervise juniors, and advise on technical accounting matters, new standards implementation, and financial reporting readiness for public and private clients.

Travel up to 40% is required; strong client service mindset, integrity, and project management skills are essential to drive growth

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a strong understanding of US GAAP.
7+ years of experience within a public accounting firm or industry environment.
Experience with technical accounting matters and internal controls.
CPA and/or MBA preferred.
Ability to navigate ambiguous and complex client assignments.
Willingness to travel up to 40%.
Strong verbal and written communication; sales interest preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver accounting advisory engagements, including technical accounting and new standards implementations.
Lead, mentor, and supervise junior professionals.
Interact with CFOs, Controllers, and business owners.
Drive growth and cross-sell services within the advisory practice.
Plan, field work, wrap up, and deliverable composition.
