Inova Health System seeks a Manager of Central Laboratory Services to lead the Core Laboratory Department, overseeing chemistry, hematology/coag/UA and central processing. This full-time day-shift role emphasizes project leadership, staff development, and cross-department collaboration.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience and relevant MLS/MT/MLT/HT/HTL/BB certification at start, with strong budget and regulatory oversight abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
• 5 years of related experience.
• MLS/MT/MLT/HT/HTL/BB certification required at start.

Responsabilités

• Provides project management leadership for enterprise-wide Laboratory Service Line initiatives.
• Ensures Laboratory operations are within approved budgetary parameters.
• Provides technical oversight to ensure regulatory compliance (CAP, AABB, FDA, OSHA, The Joint Commission).
• Manages team relations across oversight areas and develops staff.
• Synthesizes market, operational and financial analysis into system deliverables.
• Interviews, hires, trains and counsels staff.
• Attends weekly, monthly and quarterly internal/external meetings with Laboratory partners.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
