Position Title: Senior Manager, Business Operations & Strategy, PIH-US

Position Classification: Regular; Exempt; Full-Time; 40+ Hours/Week (may include some evenings and weekends)

Reports To: Executive Director, PIH-US

Location: Remote within the U.S. with up to 15% domestic travel

About PIH-US

Partners In Health United States (PIH-US) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to health justice, supporting community-led health systems across the U.S., with current focus in several communities including Alabama, Arizona, Florida, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Massachusetts.

Position Overview

The Senior Manager will work closely with the ED to refine and execute team priorities, provide strategic partnership, manage communications, and support special projects. The role requires strong judgment, diplomacy, organizational skills, and the ability to represent PIH-US externally.

Responsibilities
  • Internal communications and coordination (30%): Implement systems, lead meetings, prepare materials, maintain understanding of organizational priorities, and manage relationships tactfully.
  • Special projects management and partner stewardship (30%): Lead planning for retreats, support development of materials for funders, and manage strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Strategic planning and alignment (25%): Oversee strategic planning processes, track progress, and facilitate external engagement on strategy.
  • Administrative management (15%): Manage hiring, travel, expenses, and calendar for the ED.

Pay and Benefits

Starting salary: $85,000-$95,000/year, with benefits including retirement plan, insurance, paid time off, and holidays. Eligible for accommodations during the hiring process.
