Meet the Team

The Regulatory Affairs team within Cisco's Legal department consists of lawyers, operational specialists, program managers, engineers, and subject matter experts. They focus on privacy, global trade, cybersecurity, telecommunications, environmental sustainability, and various regulatory practice areas. The team's mission is to influence, interpret, and implement evolving and existing regulations affecting Cisco's business, engaging with external stakeholders and collaborating with colleagues across the company to drive impact.

Your Impact

Cisco's Regulatory Affairs, Legal team is seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to join the Governance Operations team. This role requires attention to detail, strong program management skills, agility, curiosity, and experience in analyzing complex regulatory issues and translating them into actionable outcomes through collaboration.

  • Provide end-to-end project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery and process improvements within scope and budget.
  • Map and evaluate processes, develop measurement approaches and metrics (KPIs/OKRs), monitor performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Identify root causes of project and process issues, assess risks, and proactively manage challenges to mitigate potential problems.
  • Deliver training, tools, and communication mechanisms for stakeholders at all levels regarding process analysis, success metrics, improvements, and controls.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Law or Policy.
  • 6+ years of relevant project or program management experience.
  • Proven track record in managing cross-functional compliance projects at scale, collaborating across stakeholders to achieve high-quality outcomes, balancing priorities, and proactively managing risks.
  • Strong understanding of compliance program design, management, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a corporate legal department of a large technology company or similar industry.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Proficiency in Tableau and MS Excel.
