Role Summary

Fanatics Collectibles is hiring a Senior Manager, Business Operations to help plan, build, launch, and scale a new U.S. manufacturing facility in the Atlanta or Indianapolis market. Reporting to the Senior Director, Transformation, this person will be a core member of the launch team and the day-to-day program leader connecting internal functions with real estate, design and construction, equipment, and other external partners.

The role will initially be based at our Texas facilities, primarily in Sunnyvale and Allen, where the Senior Manager will learn our end-to-end operating model and help lead site planning, lease execution, design, buildout, and launch preparation. The position will transition to the selected market once the facility shell is substantially complete and the work shifts onsite to equipment installation, commissioning, hiring, training, operational readiness, and startup. After launch, this person will remain at the new facility as a strategic and operating partner to site leadership, helping the operation stabilize, scale, and achieve operational excellence.

Within the first 6-12 months, you will

  • Embed in our Texas operations to understand the end-to-end manufacturing system, document critical controls and lessons learned, and convert them into clear requirements and a practical launch playbook for the new site.
  • Build and manage the integrated master plan for the facility launch, including scope, critical path, budget, stage gates, workstream dependencies, risks, decisions, and executive governance.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners through site and lease diligence, facility programming and design, permitting, utilities, construction, IT, security, environmental health and safety, quality, and buildout readiness.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, equipment suppliers, and contractors to define layout, material flow, and equipment requirements and to coordinate procurement, delivery, installation, commissioning, qualification, and handoff to operations.
  • Translate demand and capacity requirements into the operating design, including production flow, shift and labor models, organization and hiring plans, supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and inventory strategy.
  • Coordinate systems and data readiness, including ERP, production and warehouse systems, master data, integrations, operating reports, and KPI dashboards required to run the new facility effectively from day one.
  • Establish the knowledge-transfer and change-management approach, including standard work, SOPs, training and certification, and clear process ownership so the new team can reproduce and improve upon proven Texas practices.
  • Transition to the new site as the facility moves from shell completion into onsite execution, then lead launch and ramp governance, rapid issue resolution, and performance management across safety, quality, service, cost, and output.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Ability to work onsite at our Texas facilities, primarily in Sunnyvale and Allen, at the start of the role; travel regularly to the selected market during design and construction; and relocate to Atlanta or Indianapolis when onsite equipment installation and launch work begins.
  • 7-10 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, complex program management, industrial or manufacturing engineering, manufacturing operations, or supply chain. Experience supporting or leading a factory launch, major expansion, equipment installation, or comparable capital program is required; direct greenfield experience is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, business, finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to create structure from ambiguity and lead large, interdependent programs with clear plans, governance, accountability, financial discipline, and executive-level communication.
  • Practical knowledge of manufacturing and facility operations, including equipment life cycles, capacity and production planning, material flow, workforce planning, quality, safety, logistics, and supply chain.
  • Strong quantitative modeling, analytical, and financial skills, with the ability to build business cases, evaluate scenarios, identify tradeoffs, and translate insights into operating decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to influence senior leaders, operators, technical teams, vendors, and external partners without relying on direct authority.
  • Hands-on, team-first leadership style with high ownership, comfort spending time on the manufacturing floor, and a bias toward execution, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
