Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to own high-priority initiatives on our strategic manufacturing and operations roadmap, reporting to the Sr Director, Strategic Ops. You will scope initiatives, run end-to-end programs, and drive value capture with world-class analytical skills.

Based in Dallas or Sunnyvale, TX (or willingness to relocate), you will bring 5–7 years in management consulting, manufacturing, strategy, finance or Biz Ops, plus an MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in management consulting, manufacturing, strategy, finance, Biz Ops or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or similar; MBA preferred.
• Strong quantitative modelling and analytical skills with financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Own evaluation, scoping and strategic analysis of potential operations initiatives.
• Drive end-to-end execution and ensure value capture for initiatives.
• Provide executive-level analyses and recommendations to leadership.

Fanatics Collectibles is a new company working at the intersection of collectibles and technology. We are backed by some of the best investors, sports & entertainment properties, and operators in the world. Fanatics Collectibles is integrating with Fanatics’ global digital sports platform – which includes 900 sports relationships and 81+ million reachable fans – to reimagine the collectibles business for the 21st century.

Role Summary

Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a seasoned leader to own some of the highest priority, highest complexity, and highest visibility initiatives on our organization’s strategic manufacturing & operations roadmap. The Senior Managerwill report directly to the Sr Director, Strategic Ops who reports directly to Collectibles’ EVP Operations. Given the team’s end-to-end mandate, this role will be expected to 1) own the evaluation / scoping / strategic analysis of potential operations initiatives as well as 2) to drive end-to-end execution and ultimately ensure value capture. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with world-class strategic & analytical skills, a demonstrated propensity for solving difficult problems, experience leading and growing teams, and a clear team-first mindset. Candidates with a passion for sports, culture, & entertainment will find themselves a strong cultural fit.

Within the first 6 months, you will…

• Own multiple high-impact business initiatives simultaneously and work cross-functionally to ensure executional / strategic success
• Set goals, drive large programs & analytics, present progress updates, and deliver recommendations to the executive leadership, VPs, & cross-functional partners
• Work with BizOps, Manufacturing, Project Management, Finance, Pre-Press, and Operations teams to identify, size, and actively prioritize all potential initiatives / opportunities on the roadmap
• Lend cross-functional support by leading / driving highly impactful, analytical, and strategic initiatives across the organization
• Provide Exec-Level analysis & recommendations to support strategic initiatives, offsites, and long-term planning
• Engage with a wide array of end-consumers and channel partners to further Collectibles’ knowledge base and thought leadership within the industry

The Ideal Candidate:

• Dallas / Sunnyvale, TX based (or willingness to relocate)
• 5-7 years of experience, with a preference for Management Consulting, Manufacturing, Strategy, Finance / Accounting, or Biz Ops / Strategy roles
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or similar. MBA Preferred.
• Strong quantitative modelling & analytical skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong financial acumen
• Team-first management mindset, with a passion for solving highly complex problems collaboratively with their direct reports
• Superior project management skills, with ability to apply a structured approach across multiple, highly complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong intellectual horsepower; superior reasoning and analytical skills, proven track record of translating insights into actionable strategies.

About the Team

Fanatics Collectibles is a new model and vision for the hobby, fundamentally changing the experience for current and future collectors, leagues, and players across many U.S. and international professional and college sports. The organization has long-term, exclusive rights to design, manufacture and distribute trading cards for several sports and entertainment properties, including MLB, MLBPA, the Premier League, MLS, UFC, Formula 1 as well as Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars, among others. In January 2022, Fanatics Collectibles announced the acquisition of Topps, establishing the preeminent licensed trading card brand as the cornerstone of Fanatics’ trading cards and collectibles business, and jumpstarted its MLB and MLBPA rights to design, manufacture and distribute trading cards
