Senior Manager, Business Data Analysis and Processing

Join us for the Senior Manager, Business Data Analysis and Processing role at Pearson.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Business Data Analysis and Processing to lead data research, visualization initiatives, and modernize financial systems. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Operations, you will leverage data insights to inform strategic decisions and transform customer purchasing and invoicing processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with leadership and tech teams to modernize operations including ordering, payments, and invoicing.
• Manage manual processes until automation is implemented.
• Design and oversee data analysis and business intelligence strategies to generate insights, forecast trends, and support decision-making.
• Apply advanced analytics to identify patterns, optimize performance, and guide strategy.
• Develop methods for data sourcing, validation, transformation, and visualization.
• Create graphical representations to facilitate understanding of data concepts.
• Translate complex data into compelling visual reports for stakeholders.
• Partner with finance to provide data-driven insights into revenue, costs, and performance.
• Communicate with customers and partners regarding invoicing and financial inquiries.
• Monitor and refine analytical models for accuracy and impact.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, marketing, IT, or related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in finance, martech, or IT, focusing on financial systems and tools.
• Proficiency with Excel and data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret large datasets and translate insights into business value.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working directly with clients is a plus.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented, and independent work style.

Salary range in certain U.S. states: $95,000 - $105,000. Position eligible for an annual incentive. Benefits details available in our Employee Benefits Guide 2025.
