Senior Manager, Business Data Analysis and Processing

Join us at Pearson as a Senior Manager, Business Data Analysis and Processing and lead strategic data initiatives. This role is based in the United States | Remote and is a permanent full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership and tech teams to modernize operations like ordering, payments, and invoicing.
• Manage manual processes until automation is implemented.
• Design and oversee data analysis and business intelligence strategies to generate insights, forecast trends, and support decision-making.
• Apply advanced analytics to identify patterns and optimize performance.
• Develop data sourcing, validation, transformation, and visualization methods.
• Create visual stories and reports to communicate data insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Partner with finance to analyze revenue, costs, and operational metrics.
• Engage with customers and partners regarding invoicing and financial inquiries.
• Monitor and refine analytical models for accuracy and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, marketing, IT, or related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in finance, martech, or IT, focusing on financial systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret large datasets and derive business value.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting data to senior teams.
• Experience working directly with clients is a plus.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented, and independent work style.
