Senior Manager, Business Data Analysis and Processing

Join us at Pearson as a Senior Manager, Business Data Analysis and Processing. We are seeking a leader to drive strategic data research, visualization initiatives, and modernize core financial systems. This pivotal role reports to the Vice President of Business Operations and focuses on leveraging data insights to inform smarter business decisions and transform customer purchasing and invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership and tech teams to modernize operations including ordering, payments, and invoicing.
• Lead and sustain manual processes until automation is achieved.
• Design and manage data analysis and business intelligence strategies to generate insights, forecast trends, and support decision-making.
• Apply advanced analytical techniques to identify patterns and optimize performance.
• Develop data sourcing, validation, transformation, and visualization methodologies.
• Create visual data stories and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with finance to provide insights into revenue, costs, and operational metrics.
• Engage with customers and partners regarding invoicing and financial inquiries.
• Monitor and refine analytical models for accuracy and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, marketing, IT, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance, martech, or IT, especially with financial systems and tools.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working directly with clients or customers is a plus.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary range: $95,000 - $105,000, influenced by experience and location. Eligible for annual incentives. Benefits details available in the Employee Benefits Guide 2025.
