Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a seasoned Studio Operations Manager to oversee a virtual communications studio. You will lead a team of staff and freelancers to optimize daily workflows, ensure high‑quality broadcast outputs, and align operations with the ministry’s mission and goals.

You will partner with film and event teams, manage budgets, and drive process improvements. Strong leadership, technical proficiency, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 6+ years in related field (ex. broadcasting or media operations)
• Experience leading teams and managing studio operations
• Strong knowledge of broadcast and virtual communication tech and platforms
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to coach and develop others and adapt to change
• Proficiency with Mac/PC OS and presentation software

Job Description:

Manages daily operations of a virtual communications studio. Leads a team of employees and freelance partners to achieve maximum efficiency. Develops and implements strategies to optimize studio operations and meet communication needs. Consults with leadership to maximize studio utilization. Partners with Film Production and Event Production teams to optimize resources. Develops, monitors, and reports budget for studio operations. Collaborates with various teams to maximize the studio's impact. Understands studio technology to troubleshoot and coach team members. Aligns studio operations and content with the organization's mission and goals. Provides input on creative developments based on the organization's brand and goals. Manages multiple projects effectively. Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• In-depth knowledge of broadcast and virtual communication technologies and their scientific basis. [Required]
• Proven experience with highly advanced, complex audio systems, studio lighting, broadcast video capture and display, presentation systems, LED walls, projection, virtual communication platforms, and live streaming systems [Required]
• Leadership experience: managing, coaching, and developing others [Required]
• Great customer service skills with positive energy [Required]
• Exhibit excellent judgment and decision-making skills [Required]
• Experience with Mac and PC Operating systems and software [Required]
• Experience with Presentation Software (PowerPoint, Keynote, ProPresenter, and content servers) [Required]
