Job summary

Vaco by Highspring, Atlanta-based, is seeking a Senior Manager of Audit and Financial Compliance to lead strategic initiatives across the organization. You will manage a team of auditors, drive revenue assurance, internal controls, and risk mitigation, and partner with business leaders to improve processes and reporting.

You will oversee the development of audit methodologies and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure robust financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6-8+ years of auditing, compliance, risk management, or related finance functions.
• CPA, CIA, or similar professional certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

Senior Manager, Financial Compliance & Audit

The Senior Manager, Finance Compliance & Audit will lead strategic audit and compliance initiatives across the organization. This individual will oversee a team of auditors and drive programs focused on revenue assurance, internal controls, policy adherence, and risk mitigation.

This role will work cross-functionally to evaluate business processes, identify areas of risk, and recommend improvements that support accurate financial reporting and operational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of audit professionals.

The right candidate for this Senior Manager of Audit/Financial Compliance will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6-8+ years of experience in auditing, compliance, risk management, internal controls, or related finance functions.
• Strong understanding of audit principles, internal control frameworks, and regulatory compliance practices.
• Experience conducting financial, operational, or compliance audits in either public accounting or industry settings.
• Proven ability to assess risk, investigate issues, and develop practical recommendations.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.
• CPA, CIA, or similar professional certification preferred
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms.
• Background in a high-growth or rapidly evolving business environment is a plus
• History of job stability and career progression required for consideration.

Note: Travel requirement: approximately 15-25%.
