Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in chemical engineering with 7+ years of experience or a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field, with at least 10 years of experience.
• 3-5 years of people management experience.
• Proficiency in integrated business management and CRM software.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Application Engineers focused on North America and some global opportunities.
• Provide opportunity Go/No Go support and ensure sufficient Discovery for opportunities.
• Manage the opportunity funnel and assignment to Application Engineers.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop new technologies and solutions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure proposals meet industry standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical support to customers and colleagues, answering inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
• Stay up to date with industry developments and trends to provide expert technical advice.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures in chemical processes.
• Develop plans to minimize environmental impact of chemical processes.
• Participate in audits and inspections for safety and environmental compliance.
