George Higginson is currently supporting a leading global life sciences organization that is looking to strengthen its internal AI capabilities and drive the practical adoption of artificial intelligence across the business.

As part of this initiative, they are looking to hire an AI Strategy & Adoption Senior Manager based in Raleigh, NC, reporting directly to the Global Vice President of HR & IT.

This is a highly visible, cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of AI, business strategy, technology and change management. You will act as a central AI partner across the organization, identifying high-value use cases, supporting the adoption of approved AI tools and helping teams move from experimentation into practical, repeatable AI usage.

Responsibilities

• Act as a central AI champion and point of coordination across the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong understanding of generative AI, copilots and applied AI within a business environment
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools within a professional or academic setting
• Understanding of prompts, data, model limitations, hallucinations, bias and explainability
• Ability to translate technical AI concepts into clear, practical language for non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience working cross‑functionally and engaging with stakeholders across different business functions
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
• Comfortable working within a fast‑moving environment where AI capabilities and priorities continue to evolve
