Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Titusville, NJ seeks a Sr Manager, IMSC Information Architecture Deliver to lead the Information Architecture program across data domains. This role focuses on scalable models, semantic consistency, and AI-ready data to enable analytics and automation.

You will collaborate with Data Owners, Data Governance, and technology partners to build reusable information structures and knowledge graphs, driving trust and discoverability across IMSC.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated data environments.
• Knowledge of FAIR, ISO, data mesh, semantic layers, and knowledge graphs.
• Experience in information architecture, data architecture, or data management.
• Strong understanding of FAIR data principles, metadata, glossary, taxonomy, and ontology.
• Experience designing end-to-end data products across data layers.
• Ability to translate business needs into reusable information structures.
• Experience with federated operating models and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to simplify complex topics for business and tech audiences.
• Track record of partnering with data owners, governance, and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end FAIR and AI-ready data assets for domains.
• Lead information modelling for domains with clear ownership.
• Define and apply IA principles, standards, and patterns.
• Establish domain-level semantic definitions and mappings.
• Support development of AI-ready context layer connecting metadata and meaning.
• Partner with data owners and process owners for data meaning ownership.
• Work with Data Governance to embed IA policies in lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Data Operations and J&J Technology to translate models into assets.
• Oversee IA for strategic initiatives and architecture reviews.
• Contribute to designing IA operating model and governance.
• Support metadata cataloguing, glossary standards, and lineage.
• Lead ontology and knowledge graph implementation.
• Identify AI-assisted opportunities to accelerate curation and modelling.
• Create playbooks and guidance for teams.
• Drive adoption of IA across IMSC.
