Job summary

Southern California Edison is seeking a Senior Manager, Digital and AI Services to lead enterprise digital engineering, automation, DevOps, AI-enabled platforms, and governance for reliable, scalable technology delivery.

In this hybrid role, you will drive roadmaps, manage cross-functional teams, collaborate with business and cybersecurity stakeholders, and guide modernization efforts to reduce risk while delivering tangible business outcomes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or related field.
• Experience leading digital engineering, automation, DevOps, AI, or enterprise technology teams.
• Experience managing technology platforms, products, or shared services using agile or product-based delivery models.
• Experience with automation, low-code, workflow, or digital development platforms, including Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with software engineering and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, testing, release management, and code quality.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled solutions, digital assistants, intelligent automation, or generative AI technologies.
• Experience operating enterprise platforms with focus on reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
• Experience establishing technology governance, standards, operating models, and best practices.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, managed service providers, and technology contracts.

Responsibilities

• Presents business case justifications, and cost and benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
• Oversees the implementation of software packages and custom applications across environments.
• Manages project plans and resource loading using solid project management principles.
• Develops and monitors software development policies to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to define business requirements for technology implementations.
• Directs end-to-end lifecycle activities from analysis to deployment and ongoing support.
