Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Senior Manager for Digital and AI Services to lead enterprise digital engineering, automation, DevOps, AI-enabled platforms, and governance across the organization. You will drive platform strategy, security, and operational excellence while partnering with business, cybersecurity, and vendor teams to deliver innovative solutions.

The role focuses on reliability, scalability, and performance of enterprise platforms, with responsibilities spanning

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or related field.
Experience leading digital engineering, automation, DevOps, AI, or enterprise technology teams.
Experience managing technology platforms, products, or shared services using agile or product-based delivery models.
Experience with automation, low-code, workflow, or digital development platforms including Microsoft technologies.
Experience with software engineering and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, testing, release management, and code quality.
Experience implementing AI-enabled solutions and intelligent automation.
Experience operating enterprise platforms focusing on reliability, security, and operational excellence.
Experience establishing governance, standards, operating models, and best practices.

Responsibilities

Presents business case justifications, and cost and benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
Steers the implementation of solutions across various systems environments.
Oversees project plans and resource loading following solid project management principles.
Turns department strategies into executable tactical plans with measurable outcomes.
Drives roadmaps to keep systems patched and updated within area of responsibility.
Leads policy development to address complex issues and guides cross-functional teams.
Introduces innovative technologies and benchmarks them to improve current systems.
Develops and monitors software development policies ensuring data accuracy and security.
Collaborates with stakeholders to define business requirements for technology implementations.
Directs full lifecycle of application solutions including design, deployment, and ongoing support.
