Job summary

Charles Schwab in Orlando is seeking a Senior Manager, AI Standards, Controls & Responsible AI to build governance foundations enabling scalable, responsible AI adoption across Operations.

You will translate policies into practical guidance, establish risk frameworks, and partner with functions to align requirements while maintaining strong controls and clear accountability. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on governance work in a hybrid/onsite setup.

Qualifications

• Experience applying AI governance principles and risk considerations.
• Ability to translate legal, regulatory, and policy requirements into actionable guidance.
• Experience developing internal control frameworks and lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Design AI standards, guardrails and lifecycle requirements for end-user AI.
• Translate enterprise policies and control requirements into clear guidance and playbooks.
• Create scalable intake, review, and issue-management processes for responsible progress.
• Build governance reporting and visibility for leaders on use cases, ownership, and risk.
• Develop risk assessment frameworks for AI use cases with incomplete information.
• Establish governance forums, escalation paths, and remediation practices.
• Collaborate with Operations, AI product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal and control functions.
• Communicate complex AI governance concepts clearly to senior leaders.
