T-Mobile is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to guide managers and staff in designing, deploying, and evolving network and systems. You will align objectives with business goals and collaborate across functions to drive strategic engineering initiatives.

Expect 7–10 years in technical management within IP/IT or wireless networks, strong budgeting skills, and the ability to articulate complex technical and financial cases to senior leadership. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related work experience are required.
• 7-10 years of technical management experience in a large corporate IP, IT or Wireless Service provider networking environment.
• 7-10 years Experience in budget forecasting and budget tracking with a high degree of accuracy.
• 7-10 years Experience creating and communicating technical and financial business cases to senior management.
• 7-10 years Skilled at management of RFI/RFP process, capital acquisitions and contact negotiations.
• 7-10 years Effective organizational objectives/goal setting and achieving experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering managers and staff to achieve performance and behavior objectives within the function
• Engage cross-functionally with department leadership and vendors to advance major initiatives and resolve operational issues
• Contribute to budget development and allocate resources to meet financial objectives within the area
• Develop and approve network design documents for new systems and features deployment
• Ensure development and execution of test plans for major releases and key features following engineering best practices
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
