Job summary

Our client, a top-ranked AmLaw firm, seeks a Senior Manager, Professional Development to lead training for its Litigation practice. You will shape how associates build skills from junior to mid-level and help integrate AI tools into learning and work processes.

The role offers the opportunity to impact the development of talented lawyers and work with multiple internal teams on program design and delivery.

Qualifications

JD required with meaningful Litigation experience at a large law firm.
Experience managing training and development, knowledge management, or practice resources is a plus.
Strong grasp of litigation and how associates build skills across levels.

Responsibilities

Own the substantive training curriculum for the Litigation practice, designing, assessing, and improving programs for associates at all levels.
Build AI-focused training that strengthens fundamental and group-specific litigation skills.
Identify gaps in skills and knowledge and translate them into new or improved programs based on feedback.
Lead and coach junior team members and manage training logistics and execution.
Support associates as they grow and as lateral hires join the practice, helping them integrate and advance.
Partner with talent, inclusion, business development, pro bono, technology, and events to deliver well-run programming.
