Job Title: Senior Manager

Position Summary: This position works directly under the supervision of the VP Finance to evaluate the consolidated entity and provide information that assists management in making informed decisions. This position is responsible for compiling, organizing, and presenting data that offers key insights regarding the Company’s performance and strategic objectives. The position would review the daily and monthly accounting and finance activities of the organization, review month-end and year-end close workpapers and reporting to ensure the organizations finances are complete, accurate, and in accordance with GAAP and provide insights to the VP Finance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifies financial status by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Analyzes past and current financial performance data.
• Sets and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
• Recommends strategies for increasing financial performance.
• Completes market research and comparable company analyses.
• Manipulates large sums of data to provide actionable information.
• Answers financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Provides finance support through ad hoc reporting.
• Performs and reviews daily cash forecast and liquidity / working capital needs.
• Compiles and reviews weekly financial reporting snapshots and identifies areas for detailed review and provides findings and key insights to VP Finance and senior leadership
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Creates models and forecasts in Excel, Tableau, NetSuite, and other software.
• Assists with additional Accounting and Finance projects as necessary.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (A.A.) in Finance, Accounting or related field. Minimum of three (3) years of experience required. Preferred work experience in public accounting or financial analyst in transportation & logistics field.
