Job summary

Kforce is recruiting for a client in Boston seeking a Managed Services Senior Associate to support accounting, financial reporting, and operational service delivery for asset and wealth management clients. You will oversee recurring accounting activities, review entries, and coordinate deliverables across multiple engagements.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of external audit experience, with strong asset & wealth management exposure and solid end-to-end accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 3 years of external audit experience
• Ideal candidate brings external audit and Asset & Wealth Management experience with solid end-to-end accounting knowledge
• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, or team coordination experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee recurring accounting and financial reporting activities across multiple client engagements
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness
• Support general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliation, and financial close processes
• Monitor client deliverables and ensure reporting requirements and deadlines are met
• Prepare and review financial reporting packages, management reports, and variance analyses
• Support onboarding and transition of new client processes into a managed services environment
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore delivery teams to support consistent service delivery
• Partner with Operations, Technology, and Quality teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues
• Support client communications, status meetings, and resolution of escalated issues
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes through automation and workflow enhancements
• Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls, and established procedures
• Support and coach team members while maintaining high standards for accuracy and client service
