Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Mammo Tech Senior to deliver high-quality mammography imaging with exceptional patient care at the Imaging Center in Rochester, NY. The role emphasizes comfort, safety, and collaboration with the radiology team.

The candidate will train staff, support the mammography team, and ensure adherence to QA protocols and scheduling workflows within a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-R Certification required; ARRT-M Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Strong patient care behaviors.
• Provide staff training, education, guidance, and clinical support to other mammography technologists.
• Strong working relationship with the referring surgeon’s staff.
• Assists with managing patient flow and has a strong knowledge of patient scheduling.
• Proficiently performs advanced mammographic procedures, with little supervision.
• Preps and reviews cases for pre-procedure planning.
• Protocol the exams with the radiologist.
• Met federal guidelines by performing daily and weekly QA for the imaging equipment and specimen imager.
