Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform specialized breast imaging procedures, including stereotactic and MRI-guided biopsies, and to provide compassionate patient care. You will operate mammographic equipment, ensure image quality, and maintain accurate records while meeting regulatory requirements.

You will mentor residents and junior staff, coordinate in the absence of lead technologists, and support accreditation processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program

Responsibilities

• 2 years experience as a Mammography Technologist Required
• Licenses/ Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT Radiography (R) Upon Hire Required
• Licenses/ Certifications: Mammography (M) ARRT Upon Hire Required
• BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• Coordinate in the absence of the lead technologists and mentor residents/junior staff
• Maintain records and ensure regulatory compliance for radiology departments
