Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform specialized breast imaging procedures, including stereotactic and MRI biopsies, with a focus on high-quality imaging and patient care.

The role requires ARRT certifications, 2 years of mammography experience, and active BLS. You will work in a collaborative radiology team within Piedmont's Atlanta facility, contributing to patient outcomes and department accreditation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program.
• 2 years experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• ARRT Radiographer Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) upon hire.
• Mammography (M) ARRT upon hire.
• BLS - Basic Life Support upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality screening, diagnostic and other mammography procedures.
• Reviews all exam requisitions for pertinent information and makes notes on additional information.
• Ensures accuracy of each exam by following established procedures and labeling images correctly.
• Provides customer service/support to patient population.
• Maintains all required records, reports, and files as required by regulatory agencies.
• Mentors residents and junior technologists.
• Coordinates in absence of lead technologists and ensures department meets regulatory requirements.

AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
